Reflection IV

After we fixed the ripped fin with tapes, we came in after school again to try to fix the upper fin. The fins kept cracking and cracking because when we made the fin, we tape the fin with tape but we did not use any newspaper strips to make it smooth. So now when the paint started to dry, the tape does not stick with the cardboard fin itself anymore. When we came after school, we tried to fix it, but the next day, it would crack and go back exactly the same again. So in class that week, on Thursday (November 23rd), one day before this project is due, we had to consult Mr. Pat. We told him that fin kept cracking and we couldn't fix it so he told us that we could mix the paint with TOA glue. So that was what we did. China was the one who mixed the glue and repaint the fins again. Me, June and Paan kept painting white and blue on the body. While we were doing that Mr.Pat came in and drill holes on our fish's upper fins. He drilled two holes and he put the wires in. The purpose of that is that after we finished it, we could hang it for display. For the body, we have to make the scale look like a scale so we use blue for the main part, and we put white in a little bit. So the body looks like this:

Then after June and Paan was settled with painting the body, I went to get a bottle of blue and fix the tail. Then I painted the mouth with China. I did a little bit of each because I was trying to fix the details we missed. It was quite hard to paint in the little holes that were white because the holes were too little to even put the paint brushes in but I tried my best.
